Movers and shakers from the business world with a keen interest in e-commerce were invited to the launch of IRP Commerce Cloud Version 8 – a development project that has seen a £25 million investment by Belfast-based technology company IRP Commerce.
The new V8 software puts e-commerce trading data front and centre. It empowers owners of e-commerce operations to make decisions in real time, directly increasing their sales and profits and allowing them to trade smarter than their competition.
The launch of IRP Commerce Cloud Version 8 took place in Belfast’s Titanic Quarter, where IRP is based. With V8, the company has the potential to generate more growth than it has ever seen before in its 20-year history.
Daniel Loughlin, IRP Commerce founder and Chief Executive Officer said, “By continuing to invest in our technology, we are making our merchants more efficient and giving them the tools they need to scale. E-commerce success comes from ambition, from aligning data and people to profit and from trading ahead of the market. With the launch of IRP Commerce Cloud Version 8 we are moving into a new e-commerce era where the future of e-commerce is trading in real time.”
IRP Commerce is firmly embedded within the Northern Ireland e-commerce industry, having securely transacted over £1.2 billion in e-commerce sales to 170 countries. Their award-winning technology is used by more than 60 of the UK and Ireland’s leading retailers, distributors and manufacturers from a range of sectors, including beauty, sports, health, fashion and leisure.
The V8 launch was attended by many merchants who use IRP technology, including Jonzara, Fishing Tackle & Bait, Old Mill Saddlery and Argento. Also in attendance were business partners from the IRP ecosystem, including representatives from Ulster University, Invest NI, Global Pay and Built for Growth Digital.
