Catalogue Profiles

You can find this section under Customers > Catalogue Profiles in the IRP Admin left navigation menu.

If you send out product catalogues to customers, you can use the Catalogue Profiles section to create and update the profiles to which customers can subscribe to receive catalogues in the future. You can create as many Catalogue Profiles as necessary, allowing you to send out specialised catalogues to a specific list of customers.

A Catalogue Profile must exist before customers creating an account can subscribe. You create and maintain Catalogue Profiles in the same way as Email Profiles.

You can view all customer Catalogue Profile subscriptions in the Mailing List section.

How To Add or Edit a Catalogue Profile

To add or edit a Catalogue Profile, follow these steps:

Go to Customers > Catalogue Profile in the IRP Admin left navigation menu.
If you intend to send out catalogues to one list of customers, only one Catalogue Profile is required. If you plan to send out specialised catalogues to specific sets of customers, you will need to create a separate Catalogue Profile for each catalogue.
To add a new Catalogue Profile, click the Add New Catalogue Profile button at the top of the page.
To edit an existing Catalogue Profile, click the Edit button at the right side of the Catalogue Profile that you want to edit.

Enter or edit the following details:

Setting	Description
Catalogue Profile ID	The unique IRP identifier for this Catalogue Profile. This is automatically generated when adding a Catalogue Profile.
Profile Name	The name of the Catalogue Profile. Click the Translate button to translate the name into any of the languages in your IRP system.
Description	A description of the Catalogue Profile. Click the Translate button to translate the description into any of the languages in your IRP system.
Profile Type	This will determine which site (Retail or Trade) that the catalogue profile will be available from (when the Trade Site is enabled).

The details will appear on the BillingAddress.aspx page as shown below:

After you have entered the details, click the Insert Catalogue Profile button or the Update Catalogue Profile button to save them.

Customers will now be able to subscribe to the Catalogue Profile when creating an account on the BillingAddress.aspx page, or when visiting the EmailSubscriptions.aspx page within their account.
