You can find this section under Interface & Design > Polls in the IRP Admin left navigation menu.

This section allows you to create and host online polls/surveys on your website. Polls can be used as a method of research to gauge public opinion on aspects of your site or your industry. Polls are typically limited to a small sample of people so the results should be regarded as a general indication as opposed to an exact reflection of the public's opinion. IRP Polls are multiple choice and allow the customer to vote for one option against the question.

Examples of Polls questions include:

What do you like most about yourIRP.com?
What do you like least about yourIRP.com?
How did you find yourIRP.com?
What is your favourite industry publication/news website?
What is most important to you when purchasing goods online?
What is your favourite sports brand?

Note: You need to have the following Application Settings enabled in order for your poll to show on the front end:

How To Add or Edit a Poll

To add or edit a Poll, follow these steps:

Go to Interface & Design > Polls in the IRP left navigation menu.
To add a new Poll, click the Add New Poll button on the right side of the page.
To edit an existing Poll, click the Edit button at the right side of the Poll you wish to update.

Enter or edit the following details:

Setting	Description
Live	Live Polls will appear to customers on the front-end of the website. Non-live Polls will not be visible to customers. Only one Poll can be Live at any one time therefore setting this Poll live will switch off any other previously-live Polls. Note that you cannot set a Poll live until it has at least two Poll options.
Poll Name	Name of the Poll to appear on the home page of the website.
Allow Anonymous Votes	Enabling this will allow customers who are not logged in to vote.
Show Results when Poll not Live	Checking this will ensure that results from this Poll are visible to customers even when this Poll is not live.

Once you have entered or edited the details, click the Insert Poll or the Update Poll button to save them.
If inserting a Poll, you will be notified that you can now add options to the Poll:
To add an option, enter the option value and click the Add Poll Option button. To edit an option, make the change(s) in the appropriate box(es) and click the Update Poll button.
You should repeat this step for every option in the Poll.
Once you have added all options, you can specify the order in which they will appear. Lower values will appear first, e.g. 0 will appear before 1, which will appear before 2, and so forth.
You can also add translated option values here:
Once you have entered or edited all options, click the Update Poll button to save them.
You can use the Clear Poll Results button to clear the Poll results, reducing each option result to 0. This resets a Poll.

Remember: You need to have the following Application Settings enabled in order for your poll to show on the front end:

Show Poll In Right Hand Navigation
