Delegates from more than 80 companies involved in ecommerce came together in Dublin on Thursday 1st February 2018 to discuss the ‘Irish Ecommerce Landscape in 2018’.
Hosted by IRP Commerce, the event saw Amazon Pay, Facebook and Google come together to share tips, trends and news of how upcoming features from their respective companies will influence our online shopping habits this year.
Ecommerce Expo Ireland, whose yearly event this year takes place this April in Croke Park, also asked for feedback on what issues Irish retailers want addressed by their contributors, while IRP Commerce success stories, Argento and Magee 1866 both described their experiences of being an Irish retailer.
Software development company IRP Commerce, which works closely with Google and Facebook and has recently integrated Amazon Pay into its IRP platform, was in the right position to bring these influencers together.
IRP Commerce’s CEO, Daniel Loughlin gave his take on ecommerce basics and how sales needs to be at the forefront of everything that a retailer needs to consider. Location is no barrier to sales and having a platform that manages all the aspects needed for internationalisation is key for long-term success.
It’s IRP Commerce’s first major event in the Republic of Ireland market and we are looking forward to further events this year. You can download the IRP Commerce presentation using the following link:
