Receipts are printed from the EPOS when a sale has been completed. There are three types of receipts available:
- Customer receipt
- Retailer receipt
- Gift receipt
Note: You can design the text that appears at the bottom of printed EPOS receipts on the tills for specific locations by using the Receipt Bottom Text setting on the StockLocationEdit.aspx page. For more details, see the Stock Locations Knowledge Base help topic.

A gift receipt has the same format but does not include the price:
Digital receipts
The EPOS can also email the customer a receipt and add them to a mailing list:
To assist with traceability, whenever an EPOS user signs up a till customer to the mailing list, their Admin User ID is saved in the mailing list database table.
If the customer does give you their email address when they make a purchase in store, you can send them an ‘EPOS Receipt’ System Email to the address they provide. See the System Emails help topic for more information.
Digital receipts are a good way to make sure that in-store customers are aware of your online store and are an important part of a multichannel marketing strategy.
