Accepted Payment Method Icons

You can find this section under Payment Processing > Accepted Payment Method Icons in the IRP Admin left navigation menu.

You use this section to upload and manage images for the payment methods that you accept. You can upload separate images for desktop, mobile and trade sites and you can form 'Icon Groups' to assign non-default images to subsets of countries. The images will replace the $$AcceptedPaymentMethods$$ placeholder in any bottom nav content.

When you click on the Accepted Payment Method Icons heading in the left nav, you will see the AcceptedPaymentMethodIcons.aspx page. The page includes two tabs. You can see the following details on each tab:

Default Icons tab:

The tab content appears as follows:

Desktop Icon: This is the image that will replace the $$AcceptedPaymentMethods$$ placeholder in Desktop Bottom Navigation content for customers in shipping countries that are not in an Icon Group. If there is no image then the placeholder will be removed and nothing will be displayed in its place.
Mobile Icon: This is the image that will replace the $$AcceptedPaymentMethods$$ placeholder in Mobile Bottom Navigation content for customers in shipping countries that are not in an Icon Group. If there is no image then the placeholder will be removed and nothing will be displayed in its place.
Trade Icon: This is the image that will replace the $$AcceptedPaymentMethods$$ placeholder in Trade Bottom Navigation content for customers in shipping countries that are not in an Icon Group. If there is no image then the placeholder will be removed and nothing will be displayed in its place.

Country Specific Icon Groups tab:

The tab content appears as follows:

At the top of the tab you can use the search drop-down list to find a specific country.

'Delete' box: Check this box if you want to delete an icon. Subsequently, make sure that you click the Delete Selected Icon Groups button.
ID: This is the unique ID number of Icon Group, added automatically by the IRP.
Desktop Icon: This is the image that will replace the $$AcceptedPaymentMethods$$ placeholder in Desktop Bottom Navigation content for customers who are located in shipping countries that are included in this group. If there is no image then the default Desktop Icon will be used instead, if one exists.
Mobile Icon: This is the image that will replace the $$AcceptedPaymentMethods$$ placeholder in Desktop Bottom Navigation content for customers who are located in shipping countries that are included in this group. If there is no image then the default Mobile Icon will be used instead, if one exists.
Trade Icon: This is the image that will replace the $$AcceptedPaymentMethods$$ placeholder in Desktop Bottom Navigation content for customers who are located in shipping countries that are included in this group. If there is no image then the default Trade Icon will be used instead, if one exists.
Countries: This lists the shipping countries that are included in this group.
Edit: Click the Edit button to go to the AcceptedPaymentMethodIconGroupEdit.aspx page and make changes to a group. For details see the How to Add and Manage Accepted Payment Method Icons topic.

How to Add and Manage Accepted Payment Method Icons

To add default icons:

Go to Payment Processing > Accepted Payment Method Icons in the IRP Admin left navigation menu.
In the Desktop Icon, Mobile Icon or Trade Icon sections, click the Browse button to locate the icons that you want to use for those sites.
Click the Upload New Image button.

The icons that you add will be stored in the \Interface\Icons\AcceptedPaymentMethods folder. You can find this on the InterfaceManager.aspx page – for more details, see the Interface Folder help topic.

To add icons for specific countries:

Go to Payment Processing > Accepted Payment Method Icons in the IRP Admin left navigation menu.
Click the Add New Icon Group button at the top of the page.
Select either Add New Icon Group From Default or Add New Icon Group With No Images. The difference is that the 'From Default' option will display the icons that you have added on the 'Default Icons' tab and allow you to use them.
The AcceptedPaymentMethodIconGroupEdit.aspx page will appear.
Enter an Icon Group Name.
Click the Add Icon Group button.
In the Countries In Icon Group section, select the countries that you want to include in this Icon Group in the 'Countries Not In Icon Group' box (hold Ctrl or Shift to select multiple Countries) and click the Add button to move the countries to the 'Countries In Icon Group' box. If the countries were already in another group they will be removed from that group and placed in this one.
You can also remove countries from this group by selecting the countries in the 'Countries In Icon Group' box and clicking the Remove button. When removing a country, the 'Move To' drop-down list below the Remove button control where the country is after being removed:
– If you select 'Default' from the drop-down list, the country will use the default icons.
– If you select a specific group, the country will be removed from this group and placed in the group that you have selected.
– If you select 'New Group', a new group will be created with the name of the first country in it and with copies of the icons the current group has. You will then be brought to the edit page for that new group.
Use the Desktop Icon, Mobile Icon or Trade Icon sections to select the icons that you want to use for those sites.
Click the Update Icon Group button.
