You can find this section under Security > Blocked User Agent Strings in the IRP Admin left navigation menu.
You use this page to block specific UserAgent strings of devices that you want to prevent accessing your website. This helps to maintain the security of your site.
The BlockedUserAgents.aspx page appears as follows:
You can use the search bar at the top of the page to search by the domain of any blocked UserAgent string and, if you expand 'Other Options', you can filter by the name of the Admin User who blocked the UserAgent string.
The main grid contains the following details:
- ID: This is the IRP database ID of the blocked UserAgent string, added automatically by the IRP.
- User Agent String: This is the UserAgent string that is blocked.
- Blocked Since / Excluded Since: This shows the date and time when the UserAgent was first blocked.
- Notes: This shows any Admin notes that explain why the UserAgent was blocked.
- Edit: Click this button to edit the UserAgent string, to add or amend Admin notes, or to unblock the UserAgent. For more details, see How to Block or Unblock a User Agent.
