Email Templates

To add or edit a remarketing campaign email template, follow these steps:

1. Go to Email Marketing > Email Templates in the IRP Admin left navigation menu.
2. To add a new email template, click the Add New Template button at the top of the page.
3. To edit an existing email template, click the Edit button at the right side of the row belonging to the email template that you want to edit.
4. Complete the following details on the RemarketingCampaignEmailTemplateEdit.aspx page:

   Setting	Description
   Template Details
   Template ID	The unique ID of the remarketing campaign email template in the IRP. This is added automatically.
   Active	Active templates will be available to use in remarketing emails; inactive templates will not.
   Template Name	Enter the name that will be used to identify this template within IRP Admin.
   HTML Body Content
   Header & Footer	Select the Header & Footer that you want to use for this template using the drop-down list. The selection available to you depends on the Headers & Footers that have been created in the Headers & Footers section in IRP Admin. Click the Preview button to see what the Header & Footer looks like.
   HTML	Add the HTML content of this email template. Note the following: Click the Upload Files button to include any content you have saved elsewhere. Click the Add Product List button to add a custom product list to the email content. For more details, see the Custom Product Lists help topic. Click the Add Basket Contents button to add a basket content template to the email content. For more details, see the Basket Content Templates help topic. Click the Add Recommendations button to add product recommendations to the email content. You can also add any of the following placeholders to your HTML to specify the position of certain data: $$EmailAddress$$ $$UnsubscribeLink$$ $$ConfirmMarketingConsentLink$$ $$MailingListID$$ $$CustomerName$$ $$EmailCampaignEmailID$$ $$CurrentYear$$ $$SiteEmailAddress$$ $$BusinessName$$ $$WebsiteName$$ $$ApplicationUrl$$ $$ApplicationSecureUrl$$ $$ApplicationTradeUrl$$ $$ApplicationSecureTradeURL$$ $$VoucherCode$$ $$VoucherAmount$$ $$VoucherExpiryDate$$ $$VoucherMinimumSpend$$ $$BasketUrl$$ $$BasketLink$$

5. It is highly recommended that you save and preview your configuration as you go along and definitely before you make it Active.
6. To save your configuration, click the Insert Template button or the Update Template button.
7. Remember that the template must be Active before it can be used. Also make sure that you preview it before making it active and if necessary, change your HTML and/or CSS.
