Email Content Builder

IRP Marketing Cloud has been enhanced with a No-HTML email content builder. The content builder empowers merchants to quickly create emails without the need for any HTML knowledge. Just drop and drag components to the email or use templates to quickly start a new email.

The email content editor from Beefree is fully integrated in the IRP’s Email Manager and continues to build on IRP’s first party data ethos.

If the Bee Free Content Editor is not enabled in your IRP then please contact your CSM.

Once the Bee Free Content Editor is enabled access to Email Manager’s existing IRP HTML editor is no longer available. All existing campaign and flow emails still exist and can be sent as normal, but access to css and edit functionality is no longer available. IRP recommend moving to the latest Content Builder for ease of use and the additional conversion opportunities that arise.

Content Builder is an easy to use editor that requires no HTML knowledge for content creation. Design responsive content, (that works on mobile and desktop email clients), using drag and drop rows and content directly into the editor window.

The Content Editor is available to access through the flowing Email functionality:

• Campaigns - Add or create your own email campaign content
• Flows - Add or create your own remarketing campaign content
• Email Templates - Manage all your templates and create you own
• Email Common Content - Create common HTML snippets that can be added to any email
• System Emails - Select from existing system emails or add your own

Depending on your location within Email Manager, access the editor during the creation of Campaigns, Flows or System Emails using 'Select a Template', or through 'Manage Content' when creating Common Content.

Email content is created by first inserting rows into the email. Drag and drop configurable display components into the rows. Select from:

• Title text
• Paragraph text
• Lists
• Images
• Buttons
• Tables
• Dividers
• Spacers
• Social media icons
• HTML - Add your own html content
• Video
• Icons
• Text

Each component has specific options that can be changed to suit the needs of the content creator. IRP has further enhanced the component options by creating product list options for:

• Customer product lists
• Dynamic product lists

Emails can contain dynamic content that is displayed when specific content is contained within an order.

This is especially useful where merchants have orders that can contain complex combinations of points, discounts, subscriptions, out of stock items, Klarna or offline payment methods. Dynamic content only displays in orders where these conditions apply.

For example, if a dynamic row is added for points loyalty, then only orders where points are earned will display this detail.

• Order Item Details - Includes a list of Order Items included within the Order
• Points Loyalty Scheme Totals - Includes Points Loyalty Scheme totals applicable to the Order
• Order Discounts - Includes a list of the discounts applied to the Order
• Subscription Information - Messaging included in the email when Order contains subscription items
• Out of Stock Items Messaging - Messaging included in the email when Order contains items which are out of stock
• Klarna Information - Extra Klarna specific information to be included within the email when the Order has been paid for with Klarna
• Offline Order Extra Information - Extra offline Order information to be included within the email when the Order has been paid for with Cheque, Bank Transfer or Invoice

Showcasing products is an essential part of email campaigns. Email Manager supports a number of ways to add and select products in an email campaign.

• Custom Product Lists
  • Merchants can select to add a Customer Product List that contains products to display combined with the layout contained in a custom product list template.
• Product Recommendations
  • Adds a list of recommended products without the need to create a Custom Product List, combined with the layout contained in a custom product list template.
• Dynamic Product Rows
  • Select from one hero product up to a maximum of three products in a single row just by selecting a modelID or model name. Create more complex layouts by varying the number of products in each row in an easy to use visual editor directly within the email builder.

Custom Product Lists can be added directly to an email template by using the Content > Custom Product List component.

The user adds a Custom Product List (CPL) row by dragging the component into the template builder. The user must select the following to add a CPL:

• Product List Type of ‘Custom Product List’
• Custom Product List - The list of products that have been added to the custom product list in IRP Admin
• Custom Product List template - The display layout that is used to display the products

Product recommendations can be added directly to an email template by using the Content > Custom Product List component. Recommendations are dynamically generated from the best selling products, there is no need to select products or a custom product list to use this feature.

The user adds a product recommendations row by dragging the component into the template builder. The user must select the following to add a CPL:

• Product List Type of ‘Product Recommendations
• Custom Product List template - The display layout that is used to display the products

Dynamic Product Rows allow users to add products directly to emails without the need for custom product lists. Users can search and add products directly to rows just by knowing the Model ID or Model Name.

There are two types of Dynamic Product Rows:

• Hero Products - Support only one product in a ‘hero’ row with additional display style functionality.
• Multi Product Rows - Can support from one to a maximum of three models in a single row.

Additional attributes can be selected to determine products display characteristics within the emails:

• Display Style - Only available in ‘Hero’ product rows. Allowing a flexible layout:
  • Image Above of Content
  • Image Left of Content
  • Image Right of Content
• Include Price
• Include RRP (Recommended Retail Price)
• Include Discount
• Include Colour Attributes
• Include Reward Points
• Include Reward Points

Where multiple product images are available in the model, the user can select the image they wish to display in the email by moving through the image carousel.

Products can be edited, removed and replaced in a dynamic row until the row is added to the email using the ‘Add Dynamic Product Row’ button.
