On the FeedSpecifications.aspx page, IRP Admin image specifications are those which match the latest version published on IRP World. Modified specifications are those which are present in IRP World, but their settings or definition does not match that of the latest version in IRP World. Custom specifications are those which have no match in IRP World at all

Saving amount / percentage placeholders

Some feed specifications require a saving amount / percentage column to be displayed. Therefore, you can use the following savings amount and percentage placeholders alongside promotional pricing placeholders:

  • $$FINAL_SAVING$$ (This will always display a 0 if a saving is not available)
  • $$FINAL_SAVING_IF_PRESENT$$ (This will not display a value if a saving is not available)
  • $$FINAL_SAVING_PERCENTAGE$$ (This will always display a 0 if a saving is not available)
  • $$FINAL_SAVING_PERCENTAGE_IF_PRESENT$$ (This will not display a value if a saving is not available)

Notes on Google Shopping Feeds

The IRP can include the following attributes in Feed Specifications. Please contact your Systems Integrator and Google PPC Provider in order to upgrade your Google Shopping feed specifications in conjunction with your Shopping AdWords campaigns.

Season

The IRP includes Model Season as a custom attribute in Feed Specifications to enable grouping in Google Shopping AdWords Campaigns. The possible error values are:

  • NoUrlPartsPresent: The required column 'url_parts' is not present in the data returned.
  • NotInDataSource: 'url_parts' is present but it does not contain a value for 'Season'
  • IncorrectFormat: The value for 'Season' should be a number
  • ValueNotRecognised: The value returned from the data source is a number but does not match a defined value in the IRP. The possible correct values are AllWeather - IRP Default / No Season Set / All Seasons Apply Spring Summer Autumn Winter.

Margin

Values for Percentage Margin and Actual Margin can be included in Feed Specifications for return in Feeds. This provides bid optimization in Google Shopping ad campaigns.

Sales Rank

The IRP can interpret a value into the final output of feeds for a Sales Rank. This allows best-selling products to be identified.

Offer Status

Google Shopping Feed Specifications in IRP have the ability to include the Offer Status of each individual item as a Custom Label. Custom Labels are an excellent way of grouping and optimizing Google Shopping Ad Campaigns.

The sections are described in the sections that follow.

IRP World Options Section

Here you can see the following details:

  • IRP World Auto Download Setting: Select the IRP Version you want to view - the Latest version or a Specific version. The version selected will not be saved unless you click the 'Update Feed Specification' button. If you select the option 'Specific...' you can go on to pick a particular version.
  • IRP World Version: Select the IRP Version you want to view. The version selected will not be saved unless you click the 'Update Feed Specification' button.

Feed Specification Details Section

Here you can see the following details:

  • Active: Only Active feeds will be active on the Feeds page.
  • Admin Name: The Admin name of the feed.
  • Country ISO: The country ISO for the feed.
  • Feed Channels: The Feed Channel (required).
  • Feed Types: The Feed type - Product, Stock or Other.
  • Is Facebook Product Feed: If the feed specification is a Facebook Product Catalog Feed. This, along with setting the correct Country ISO above, is essential for Facebook Product Dynamic Ads.
  • Is Google Shopping Feed: This is only used (and required) when Google certified shops is enabled. This will set this feed specification to the Google shopping feed for this country. This must be selected for feeds that are submitted to Google that will be listed in Google shopping results (this includes search feeds) when Google certified shops is enabled. If Google shopping feeds are set up but not flagged then Google certified shops functionality will not work correctly. Only active feed specifications that are submitted to Google with shopping information should have this checked. Only one should be specified for each country ISO.
  • Delimiters / File Type: How the data is delimited - tab (TSV), comma (CSV), pipe or XML (if the SQL in the Feed Specification outputs XML).
  • Include Headers: If the first row of the Feed should contain column names.

Feed SQL Definition Section

This shows the SQL Definition for the Feed.

Copy Into Custom Feed Section

Click the Copy button beside 'Create New Feed'. This will duplicate this feed from IRP World entirely, which will allow you to edit it. The IRP World Feed specification will still be active, but this will allow you to custom the feed specification as well.
