You can find this section under Stock Control > Stock Bulk Operations in the IRP Admin left navigation menu.
You use this section to set various properties against selected stock items. You can do this for individual items or for a whole page of items. You can use bulk update settings to make changes to the entire results set. You can also directly override a stock location level although in general you should avoid doing this as you should carry out Stock Takes where possible instead.
StockBulkOperations.aspx page
The StockBulkOperations.aspx page includes separate tabs for Stock, Models, Brand and Categories. The Stock tab is further split into tabs for Local Stock and Web Stock:
On each of the tabs you can use tab-specific search filters to display results in the grids. These are described in the sections that follow.
Stock tab search filters - Local Stock
Here you can search by Stock ID, Model ID, Part Code, External Stock ID, Model Name, Supplier, Brand, Category, Custom Flag, In Stock/Out of Stock status, Active/Inactive status, Stock Level, Part Code/Missing Part Code, EAN /EAN Missing and by Cost Price/Missing Cost Price. The results are displayed in the grid below. After optionally changing the Min Stock Level, Re-Order Quantity, Local Price and/or Stock Level details in the grid and checking the associated selection boxes, you can use the Bulk Update Local Stock button to update the details, if required:
Stock tab search filters - Web Stock
Here you can search by Stock ID, Model ID, Part Code, External Stock ID, Model Name, Stock Location, Supplier, Brand, Category, Custom Flag, In Stock/Out of Stock status, Active/Inactive status, Stock Level, Part Code/Missing Part Code, EAN /EAN Missing, Cost Price/Missing Cost Price and by Picking Location. The results are displayed in the grid below. After optionally changing the Custom Flag, Supplier, Out of Stock Status, Cost Price, Min Stock Level and/or Re-Order Quantity details in the grid and checking the associated selection boxes, you can use the Bulk Update Web Stock button to update the details, if required:
Models tab search filters
Here you can search by Model ID, Model Name, Model External, Part Code, External Stock ID, Supplier, Category, Custom Flag, Active/Inactive status, In Stock/Out of Stock status and by Cost Price/Missing Cost Price. The results are displayed in the grid below. After optionally changing the Custom Flag, Supplier, Cost Price and/or Target Days to Sell Stock details in the grid and checking the associated selection boxes, you can use the Bulk Update Models button to update the details, if required:
Brands tab search filters
Here you can search by Brand ID, Brand Name, Brand External, Supplier, Custom Flag and Active/Inactive status. The results are displayed in the grid below. After optionally changing the Custom Flag, Supplier, Enable Auto Reordering and/or Enable Auto Level Recalculation details in the grid and checking the associated selection boxes, you can use the Bulk Update Brands button to update the details, if required:
Categories tab search filters
Here you can search by Category ID, Category Name, Category External, Supplier, Custom Flag and Active/Inactive status. The results are displayed in the grid below. After optionally changing the Custom Flag and/or Supplier details in the grid and checking the associated selection boxes, you can use the Bulk Update Categories button to update the details, if required:
